Witch Bedroom

This was a personal project I started to model a bedroom. I wanted to try modeling an interior piece that felt lived in. I wanted to give it as much life as possible and feel like the person who lives here keeps a cluttered space as all of us sometimes do. In the process of dressing the set, I looked at the reference but also did my best to make all the cloth (bed sheets, shoe laces, sweater and backpack) look dilapidated.

In this project, I learned how to use Marvelous Designer and specifically used their dynamic sculpting brush to customize the warping and crinkling of the bedsheets. I had a blast using this tool and found it so fun to manually sculpt a sheet as if it was made out of wet paper towels. I also learned how to clean up the high poly mesh made during the simulation in Marvelous Designer. I used Z Brush and the Z Remesher tool adjust the topology.

The entire model was build from scratch and reference was taken from a piece of artwork by Alexandra Kasenda (https://www.xandradraws.com/)
